The Fenway Ballpark Experience

Took a Chinatown bus from NYC to Boston early in the morning. The cart noodle there tasted similiar to those in HK. Yummy.

Reach Boston round noon-time for check-in. The HI hostel that we are staying this time is great! It was nice clean and most importantly they did not screw up our reservation like the Broadway Hostel in NYC.

Headed off to Fenway Park straight after check-in as the Red Sox is in action tonight. Furthermore, the gal in our dorm mentioned that the game on the previous night was very exciting. So thankful it a very short walk from the hostel. Hehe.

The place is buzzing with activity even at 4 plus pm althought the game will only start round 7.30. Since the ticket counter only opens at around 5pm, we decided to walk around the place. It was really vibrant and full of sports bars. We did not chill at one as we wanted to save it for the night. (which turn out to be a bad idea, as we were too tired to even go to one later the night)

We got the cheapest ticket for the match, a standing one. Not enough money to go for the luxury of seating tickets. The game was really interesting for the 1st two innings. The action however, die down from the 3rd inning onwards. Feeling bored and tired from our standing, we decided to head back to the hostel at the 5th inning to recharge for the next day.

It small but still so impressive

Pticher in action!
