The Vision

I did another clip today while waiting for the flight to London today. Montreal! I used the song Cassaopeia by Rain as it was our anthem at espace confort. Looped it so much till it keep ringing in my mind. Here is the clip.

The flight on Thomas Cook turned out to be unexpectedly good. Two meals served in just 6 hours flight and lots of leg room too. Reached London on a rainy mornin'. After a little luck and following my instinct, I found Eunice's place.

We first went for breakfast then shopping at Saintberry. I hope i spelled it right. It was like a huge Superstore and its only 2 minutes walk from her place. So good! Went on to check out 3 museum in less than 1 hour. Haha. Went in just to take a little photo and videos. All the museums are freeee! Isn't that cool?

We next went around Imperial college, Royal Albert Theater, Chinatown and Picadilly Square. I like the busy feeling at Picadilly. It seems like the London that I envision. I truly like the red buses here. They look really attractive.

We next made a really impulsive decision to watch a musical. Decided on dirty dancing. However, tickets are out. The lady suggested that we take 'We Will Rock You'. I wanted to watch it in Toronto but did not have the time. We went ahead not knowing that it is actually the 5th Annivesary party tonight.

The casts were really impressive. They put on a very stunnin and powerful performance. The singing was marvellous. I can feel the energy charging throughout the hall. Choreography was simple but nice. Best musical so far for me. Got to see Queens live too! Now, that's really a bonus. I spoiled myself by buyin' some merchandise. Hehe, Finally I'm buying something.

London turned out to be superbly nice! Regret for not stayin longer.

I found a vision. I'm gonna do a check about something when I get back before deciding. This could be the biggest decision that I make in my life. And I hope I could finally follow my heart.

The Emptiness

I felt so empty after Suz left today. There were 5 of us in the begining of this trip. Abuchi, Santa, Anjuma and finally Haimoni left. I feel so alone now. Miss you guys so much. No mood to even go out for dinner. Guess in this short 4 period of time I really learned to enjoy all your company so much that I forgot how hard it is to deal with this emptiness once again.

So I started doing the only thing that would make me happy again. I made a video of us. FIrst up is Ottawa. Guess from now onwards everytime I made a video I will think of you guys. I will do my very best because I always remember how wonderful were the smile on your faces when you all watched the video.

New ambition: Travel journalist!

Here is the video of Ottawa

I know this is crazy.I maanaged to get 2 videos done in less than 4 hours! Woohooo! Now i truly understand why loneliness can help one succeed provided that it does not kills you. My efficiency increased by so much. This one is on Niagara Falls. When there were 5 of us. Lookin back all these memories really makes me laugh. Well, enjoy this second video too ya.

The Best Movie of The Year

Last day in quebec. I'm so gonna miss this nice city. We walked around the Grand Alley which we supposed to visit last night. Took more pics as we left for Montreal again. Lucky to catch the bus on time. But unlucky to have screaming kids in the bus. I so wanna throw him out of the emergency window!

Wa walked miles for food at Chinatown. I almost died from hunger. But it was worth it. Cheap and nice! The sizzling seafood hot plate is just marvellous!

Manage to catch Spiderman 3! Best movie so far this year for me. Its amazing how much the movie touched me. Its so moving in so many ways. I truly liked the themes in this movie. Power, forgiveness & friendship.

The last part where Harry died was so sad. Just when they clear the misunderstanding and fought together. Argh! I was so looking forward to see them fight the bad guys together in Spiderman 4. Why do they have to kill off his characther? And why does all good things has to come to an end?

Still touched from this dialogue
Harry : Friends .........
Peter : Best Friends .............
As I watched this final part, I couldn't help but wonder will we have to go through such turbulance to realise a true friendship?

The 2 Gals, A guy & A Smoked Meat Place

Smoked meat. That's the food that we wanted try today. Walked all the way to this restaurant that actually closed down. Again thanks to the old travel book. Argh. We randomly choose another which turnsout to be quite good. However, the portion is huge. Advice: Do order at least one plate less than thenumber of peeps in your party. We almost exploded tryin to eat them up. Haha.

We visited the Cathedral of Queen Mary which is modelled according to the one in Rome. Its actually only one 1/3 of the size of the one in Rome. Nevertheless, I was super impressed with the interior. The ceiling was the best that I have ever seen thus far.

A walk at the campus of McGill reminds me of UofC again. No, nothing is the same as UofC. People are everywhere, it looked more like central park than a university. We saw people sunbathin, picnickin, playin ball games and drinkin coffee at the patio too. Now that's really enjoyable!

We rounded up the day with a very good chocolate crepe'. Off to Quebec tommorrow. Alanis we are so gonna miss you!

The Romantic Getaway

We went to the old Montreal today. They gals told me that it looked pretty much like Europe. I should've gone the States for the next two weeks but not Europe if that's the case. Think i like modern architechure more. Nevertheless the sight and scene still impress me.

Cirque du Soliel is having their tour here. I wanted to watch as I heard that it was one of the best circus. However, the price was quite high so we gave it a pass. Sigh. Tried out the eggspectation, a restaurant that is themed around eggs. Luved the concept but the food is just normal.

We went back for a rest before setting off again at night to old Montreal once again just to see the night light ups. The night scence was really great! I really luved the way the old buildings lit up but not the way we fight over the ice cream. Haha

The stroll along the waterfront is so nice. Its super romantic at night. I need to go there for a date! Haha. We were drop dead tired after the walk. went back to Zzzzz. Gonna check out the new city tomolo!

The Insecurity

I felt really out of place in Montreal. It was my first time in a land where i couldn't understand the main language. I think people here uses french as their first language. Even the signs and megazines are in French. Subways announcement in French too. I could hardly find English words. SOmeone help! Ok enough of complainin.

We went to the suburbs today. First stop was the Olympique Park where the 1976 olympics were held. Checked out the world's highest inclined tower too.

Next up was the St. Joseph Basilica. It was pretty impressive. Super huge church built up high in the hill. We need to climb 102 steps of stairs just to reach the main entrance. Yes, I counted!
The church was really impressive the architechure, thousands of candles lit up and tons of escalators inside!

They even have the way of the cross garden with all 14 sculptures complete. The view from the top was magnificient! I wish i could see the sunset here.

Santa Kit left later the day. Its now me, anjuma and haimoni left. Friends I'm so gonna miss you all!
